IPDS Organogram

PFC is the Nodal agency for implementation of “Integrated Power development Scheme (IPDS)” launched by Ministry of Power, Govt. of India for strengthening of Urban Distribution sector of the Country. The salient features of IPDS Organogram are as below:

  • The IPDS team at PFC works under overall supervision and guidance of CMD (PFC) Sh. Rajeev Sharma and the Board of Directors of PFC.

  • The IPDS unit is headed by ED (IPDS) and supported by a team of 30 executives comprising of domain experts from PFC as well as NTPC. The team is actively involved in implementation and monitoring of IPDS and related activities like AT&C loss monitoring, etc., for effective implementation of the Scheme.

  • For centralized monitoring of specific functions, officers are assigned roles according to their expertise. A functional Organogram of IPDS unit is available at Annexure-A.

  • In addition to the specific functional tasks, each officer is designated as State Nodal Officer for atleast two States to monitor, facilitate and coordinate with State/ Utilities on various projects/ activities in the urban distribution sector.   • To support the State Nodal officer, one officer at Zonal offices is posted for coordination with States/ Utilities at field level. The details of Zonal Monitoring offices is available at Annexure-C.
